Chapter 47: The Virtue Of One Whose Child Dies And He Seeks Reward
باب فَضْلِ مَنْ يَمُوتُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ
Sahih Muslim 2632 a
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
Anyone amongst the Muslims, three of whose children die, and he resigns himself calmly to the will of Allah, Fire will not touch him but for the fulfilment of the oath.حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ " .
